Keys was given the college's top honor, the Chieftain Award, which recognizes the graduating senior who has shown the utmost dedication and leadership qualities while at Lycoming and whose academic rank is above the median of the preceding senior class. Wallace is the 12 th men's basketball player in program history to earn the award and the first since Lycoming Athletics Hall of Fame member Greg Sye in 2008. As a junior, he earned Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth accolades, posting three double-doubles, 22 double-figure scoring efforts and five double-figure rebounding games. Wallace has also become one of the conference's premier players, earning the MAC Commonwealth Championship MVP award as a sophomore while leading the team to its first of two straight conference titles. He also had jumps in assists (94 percent improvement), blocks (155 percent improvement) and steals (59 percent improvement). His field goal percentage also improved nearly 100 points, going from 46 percent (86-of-187) to 56 percent (152-of-274) as a junior. His scoring average rose to 12.1 points as a junior, a 48 percent jump from his 8.2 as a freshman, while his rebounding jumped 56 percent to 6.7 per game. The 6-4 power forward on the men's basketball team has seen his numbers rise incrementally throughout his career. Wallace was honored as the Sol "Woody" Wolf Award winner, which is given to a junior who has shown the most improvement in the intercollegiate competition in his/her first three years at the college. Lazarich is the fifth women's lacrosse player and the third women's soccer player to earn the award, joining Meghenn Jackson (2016) as the dual-sport lacrosse and soccer players to earn the award. The junior is already in the top 10 in school history in career goals (124, 10 th), assists (57, fifth), points (181, eighth) and draw controls (184, fourth). In lacrosse, Lazarich is second in the MAC Commonwealth in goals (3.25), eighth in assists (1.17), third in points (4.42), ninth in ground balls (2.33) and fifth in draw controls (3.75). She was named Third Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region. She finished her junior soccer season with the school's career records in goals (47), points (103) and game-winning goals (12) and she set school records with 19 goals, 40 points and six game-winning goals during season, becoming the first player in school history to earn all-region honors. She was a First Team All-MAC Commonwealth in lacrosse as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman. In soccer, she is a two-time Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth pick and a one-time honorable mention all-conference selection. Lazarich is a three-year letterwinner and starter as a forward in soccer and a midfielder in lacrosse. Lansberry is the 17th wrestler in program history to earn the college's Male Outstanding Athlete Award. Lansberry is the second consecutive wrestler to win the award, joining classmate Nolan Barger(Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield), who won it in 2016. Topping off his career, the ecology major was also named an NWCA Scholar All-American as a senior. He is the only wrestler in program history to win 30 matches in all four years of career. Lansberry finished his career with a school-record 145 career wins, while also setting school's career records with 25 technical falls and 27 major decisions. He set a school-record with 13 technical falls and he was just the second Warrior in school history to win 40 matches in a season.
He won the 2017 MAC Championship and NCAA Mideast Regional titles at 149 pounds and was also named to Budd Whitehill Duals All-Tournament Team. As a senior, Lansberry went 41-2, starting the season with a school-record 40-match winning streak. Lansberry was a four-year letterwinner and starter for the Lycoming College wrestling team, earning two All-American honors after finishing fourth at 149 pounds at NCAA Division III Championships in 20. In addition, men's cross country senior Donald Keys (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy) earned the college's highest honor, the Chieftain Award. Junior men's basketball player Chris Wallace (Randallstown, Md./Calvert Hall) also picked up a top honor, earning the Sol "Woody" Wolf Award. Senior wrestler Seth Lansberry (Klingerstown, Pa./Line Mountain) and junior women's soccer/lacrosse player Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) were named the Lycoming College Male and Female Outstanding Athletes, respectively, at the college's Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 17, at the Community Arts Center.
